Services take place in the individual's own home or out in the community.

You will be working with an individual in a 1:1 capacity.

Hours are flexible according to the needs of the individual.

 

We have the following two positions available:

Direct Support Professional and Behavioral Support DSP

The role of the DSP is to assist individuals in their Daily living skills, socialization, traveling, shopping, meal preparation, hygiene and much more. Everyone we serve is unique and so are their needs, we tailor services based on these needs to ensure individuals are able meet the goals most meaningful to them.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Is passionate about working with Individuals with I/DD

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Ability to pass required background check, State, Federal, Central Registry and Drug tests

  • Complete all required trainings

  • Must possess a valid driver's license that is currently in good standing with a good record

 

Additional Requirement for Behavioral Support DSP

  • Ability to implement instructional programs

  • Follow through with ABA-based intervention techniques such as chaining, prompting, incidental teaching, fading, etc.

  • Collects, summarizes, and reports data

  • Manages problem behaviors and implements behavior reduction programs

  • Makes us of/recommends materials, equipment, and supplies

  • Additional PBIS trainings

  • Carries out other duties as may be requested by the Clinical Director

 

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field

  • Registered Behavioral Technician

 

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

 

  • Northern, NJ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work

 

 

Bilingual a plus!!​

 

 

 

Experience:

 

  • Applied behavior analysis: 2 years (Preferred for Behavioral Supports DSP)
